Despu\u00e9s\u00a0del primer encuentro mundial de 2001, sucedi\u00f3 un proceso mundial de b\u00fasqueda y de construcci\u00f3n de alternativas a las pol\u00edticas neoliberales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esa definici\u00f3n es escribida en la Carta de los Principios del FSM. El Foro Social Mundial se caracteriza tambi\u00e9n por su pluralidad y su diversidad. No es ni confesional, ni gubernamental, ni partidista. Se propone de facilitar la articulaci\u00f3n, descentralizada y en redes, de asociaciones y movimientos involucrados, tan al nivel local como internacional, en acciones concretas de construcci\u00f3n de otro mundo, sin pretender encarnar una instancia representativa de la sociedad civil mundial.
