{"id":52931,"date":"2018-10-30T07:50:01","date_gmt":"2018-10-30T05:50:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.right2city.org\/news\/celebrating-the-right-to-urban-life\/"},"modified":"2020-05-12T19:36:32","modified_gmt":"2020-05-12T17:36:32","slug":"celebrating-the-right-to-urban-life","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.right2city.org\/es\/news\/celebrating-the-right-to-urban-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebremos el Derecho a la Vida Urbana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.righttothecityplatform.org.br\/celebrating-the-right-to-urban-life\/imagen-ppal-news-lefebvre_es\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3129\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3129\" src=\"https:\/\/www.right2city.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/imagen-ppal-news-Lefebvre_ES.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1079\" height=\"713\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>En el D\u00eda Mundial por el Derecho a la Ciudad, queremos conmemorar el 50 aniversario de la inspiradora obra de Henri Lefebvre \u00abEl Derecho a la Ciudad\u00bb con una muestra de iniciativas para celebrar este libro desde miradas y espacios de trabajos diversos.\u00a0 En esta edici\u00f3n del bolet\u00edn, los autores\u2013 procedentes de movimientos sociales, gobiernos locales y academia \u2013comparten las diferentes propuestas llevadas a cabo en diferentes formatos \u2013desde debates, paseos urbanos, talleres, art\u00edculos, revistas, exposiciones, proyecciones, conciertos, etc. \u2013 y diferentes partes del mundo, con el fin de seguir debatiendo sobre este derecho y reflexionando sobre el c\u00f3mo implementarlo aqu\u00ed y ahora.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En este medio siglo, la obra de Lefebvre nos ha abierto el pensamiento y llamado a la acci\u00f3n colectiva reiteradamente: nos empuja a enarbolar el Derecho a la Ciudad como utop\u00eda o bandera pol\u00edtica aglutinadora de reivindicaciones y luchas urbanas contra las expresiones espaciales del dominio del capital financiero, excluyente y segregador; nos llama a la lucha por lograr una mayor incidencia en la definici\u00f3n de las pol\u00edticas urbanas; nos hace reflexionar y debatir de manera recurrente desde diferentes disciplinas, foros y lugares del mundo. Y tras estos 50 a\u00f1os de lucha podemos celebrar que este derecho ya se encuentra formulado y reconocido en instrumentos jur\u00eddicos y pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas, tanto a nivel local como nacional, y cada vez son m\u00e1s frecuentes sus referencias en documentos internacionales, como la Nueva Agenda Urbana.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la fuerza del mensaje de Lefebvre que nos sigue convocando y llamando a la revoluci\u00f3n? La fuerza de la vida urbana que hace \u00abque los mensajes, las \u00f3rdenes, las presiones venidas de altas instancias se vuelvan contra ellas mismas. Intenta apropiarse del tiempo y el espacio, rompiendo con el dominio que estos establecen, apart\u00e1ndoles de su objetivo, cortocircuit\u00e1ndolos. [&#8230;] Lo urbano ser\u00eda as\u00ed, [&#8230;], obra de los ciudadanos, en lugar de imponerse a ellos como un sistema, como un libro ya terminado\u00bb. <a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>La singularidad de la obra de Lefebvre reside en la incorporaci\u00f3n de la dimensi\u00f3n social en su teor\u00eda de la vida, \u00ablo urbano\u00bb, que trasciende la dimensi\u00f3n material de \u00abla ciudad\u00bb, producto f\u00edsico. Lo urbano es la esencia de la ciudad, la vivencia real del espacio, donde se proyectan las relaciones sociales, el tiempo social y mental. La ciudad es lo tangible, el conjunto de infraestructuras, calles, instituciones&#8230; Es la oposici\u00f3n entre el espacio producido por los habitantes, quienes lo usan y sue\u00f1an, y el espacio abstracto ordenado del mercado.<\/p>\n<p>Lefebvre nos recuerda que el contenido del Derecho a la Ciudad lo ponemos los habitantes, que somos los que creamos, producimos y vivimos las ciudades. Este derecho propone una apropiaci\u00f3n real por parte de los habitantes de sus condiciones de vida y un control de las decisiones que les conciernen. Como dice el propio Lefebvre: \u00abEl derecho a la ciudad no puede concebirse como un simple derecho de visita o como un retorno a las ciudades tradicionales. Solo puede formularse como un derecho a la vida urbana, transformada, renovada\u00bb <a href=\"#_edn2\" name=\"_ednref2\">[ii]<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Celebremos el 31 de octubre, D\u00eda Mundial por el Derecho a la Ciudad, haciendo honor a Henri Lefebvre al reafirmar nuestro compromiso a seguir luchando y poniendo en pr\u00e1ctica el Derecho a la Ciudad dentro de un h\u00e1bitat de derechos humanos, para todas y todos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ednref1\" name=\"_edn1\">[i]<\/a> Lefebvre, H.
