En todo el mundo, la sociedad civil y los gobiernos locales est\u00e1n demostrando su liderazgo en la respuesta a las crisis, desarrollando tanto respuestas de emergencia a las necesidades m\u00e1s urgentes como iniciativas que avanzan hacia la necesaria transformaci\u00f3n estructural. El fortalecimiento de la colaboraci\u00f3n horizontal y democr\u00e1tica entre los actores e instituciones (gobierno, comunidades, sociedad civil) y a diferentes escalas (vecindario, ciudad, nacional, internacional) debe estar en el centro de la respuesta a estos desaf\u00edos globales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para el Foro Pol\u00edtico de Alto Nivel de este a\u00f1o lanzamos una llamada\u00a0 urgente a las Naciones Unidas y a todas las instituciones internacionales, regionales, nacionales y locales y a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil para que trabajen conjuntamente en la <strong>aplicaci\u00f3n de los ODS y NAU a trav\u00e9s del Derecho a la Ciudad para responder a estas crisis globales con un enfoque de derechos humanos y avanzando hacia una transformaci\u00f3n estructural a largo plazo de nuestras ciudades y comunidades.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Es m\u00e1s urgente que nunca asegurar la implementaci\u00f3n de la Agenda 2030 y la Nueva Agenda Urbana, con el Derecho a la Ciudad como piedra angular.<\/strong> El Derecho a la Ciudad es clave para lograr ciudades y asentamientos humanos que sean justos, inclusivos, seguros, sostenibles y democr\u00e1ticos, definidos como bienes comunes para disfrutar de la vida con dignidad y paz.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El siguiente mapa muestra iniciativas de todas partes del mundo que van\u00a0 en la direcci\u00f3n de las transformaciones globales para hacer frente a las crisis mundiales.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_code _builder_version=\u00bb4.3.2&#8243;]\n<div style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<div style=\"position: relative; Such initiatives are diverse and respond in different ways to the multiple and complex effects of the pandemic. They are also being presented by different actors, from government institutions, civil society, grassroots organizations, academia, and the private sector.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Civil society and local governments are demonstrating leadership in the response of the crises, developing both emergency responses to the most urgent needs and initiatives that move towards the needed structural transformation. Strengthening horizontal and democratic collaboration between actors and institutions (government, communities, civil society) and at different scales (neighbourhood, city, national, international) must be at the core of the response to these challenges.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this year\u2019s High-Level Political Forum we launched an urgent appeal to the United Nations and all international, regional, national and local institutions and civil society organizations to work together in the<\/span><b> implementation of the SDGs and NUA through the Right to the City to respond to these global crises<\/b> <b>with a human rights approach and moving to a long-term structural transformation of our cities and communities.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><b>It is more urgent than ever to ensure the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the New Urban Agenda, with the Right to City as the cornerstone<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The pandemic finds us at a time of crisis of the neoliberal system and climate emergency, further aggravating the health, social and economic situation worldwide. The Right to the City is key to achieve cities and human settlements that are just, inclusive, safe, sustainable and democratic, defined as common goods for enjoying life with dignity and
