Este nuevo documento tem\u00e1tico elaborado por la Plataforma Global por el Derecho a la Ciudad<\/strong> quiere arrojar luz sobre el potencial y la necesidad de formas alternativas de ciudadan\u00eda. La ciudadan\u00eda formal fomenta una narrativa de universalismo, seg\u00fan la cual todos los ciudadanos tienen los mismos derechos y obligaciones, pero la ciudadan\u00eda es \u00abexperimentada diferencialmente\u00bb por mujeres, hombres, ancianos, j\u00f3venes, personas racializadas, pueblos ind\u00edgenas, comunidades LGTBQIA+, migrantes… Sentimos la necesidad urgente de ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la perspectiva tradicional de la ciudadan\u00eda, centrada en el Estado, ya que la ciudadan\u00eda no deber\u00eda ser un instrumento de exclusi\u00f3n sino de inclusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Por el contrario, pretendemos plantear y fomentar nuevas interpretaciones de la ciudadan\u00eda que se conceptualicen desde un enfoque de abajo hacia arriba, que vayan m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las concepciones nacionalistas y que reconozcan la diversidad dentro de la igualdad. En el mundo globalizado de hoy, pedimos que la ciudadan\u00eda se desprenda de las perspectivas \u00abestadoc\u00e9ntricas\u00bb y sea m\u00e1s sensible a la realidad local sobre el terreno.\u00a0<\/p>\n
