Desde 2020, la\u00a0Plataforma Global por el Derecho a la Ciudad (PGDC)<\/strong>\u00a0se ha embarcado en un\u00a0proceso de aprendizaje colectivo<\/a>\u00a0junto a todos sus miembros y aliados para la elaboraci\u00f3n de una serie de art\u00edculos tem\u00e1ticos para explorar y profundizar en los contenidos conceptuales y program\u00e1ticos clave relacionados. al Derecho a la Ciudad. Estos documentos est\u00e1n destinados a fortalecer el trabajo de promoci\u00f3n, capacitaci\u00f3n, trabajo en red y comunicaci\u00f3n del GPR2C.<\/p>\n

En esta ocasi\u00f3n, publicamos el Documento Tem\u00e1tico: \u00abM\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los v\u00ednculos urbano-rurales: la defensa de los territorios y las ciudades para la vida\u00bb. Este documento\u00a0introduce una reflexi\u00f3n sobre cu\u00e1l es el potencial del fortalecimiento de los v\u00ednculos urbano-rurales para avanzar en el Derecho a la Ciudad. El texto analiza la pertinencia de este debate a partir del contexto actual, vincul\u00e1ndolo con la teor\u00eda y el debate m\u00e1s amplios en torno al Derecho a la Ciudad y los Derechos Humanos y citando despu\u00e9s ejemplos de\u00a0enfoques alternativos, m\u00e1s equitativos y equilibrados de actuaci\u00f3n en los territorios<\/b>, con especial atenci\u00f3n a la funci\u00f3n social y ambiental del territorio y a la distribuci\u00f3n equitativa de las cargas y beneficios de los procesos econ\u00f3micos generados en dichos territorios.<\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, la publicaci\u00f3n presenta una serie de\u00a0recomendaciones para que los gobiernos nacionales y locales<\/b>\u00a0fortalezcan la acci\u00f3n alternativa bajo cinco categor\u00edas principales: producci\u00f3n y consumo responsables; econom\u00eda solidaria; soberan\u00eda alimentaria; justicia ambiental y territorial; planificaci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n territorial.<\/p>\n
