La Plataforma Global por el Derecho a la Ciudad (PGDC)<\/b> participa esta semana en la Semana del Clima de Nueva York 2026<\/b>, reafirmando un mensaje fundamental: no hay justicia clim\u00e1tica sin el derecho a la ciudad<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

La crisis clim\u00e1tica es inseparable de las desigualdades estructurales que configuran nuestras ciudades \u2014desigualdades que determinan qui\u00e9n est\u00e1 m\u00e1s expuesto a los riesgos medioambientales, qui\u00e9n tiene acceso a una vivienda adecuada y qui\u00e9n puede participar de forma significativa en la configuraci\u00f3n del futuro urbano\u2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

Insistimos en que la acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica debe basarse en una gobernanza inclusiva<\/b>, el poder de las comunidades<\/b>, econom\u00edas basadas en la solidaridad<\/b> y territorios que cuiden de las personas y del planeta<\/b>. La falta de vivienda y la precariedad habitacional no son solo injusticias sociales, sino tambi\u00e9n injusticias clim\u00e1ticas. Este acto de presentaci\u00f3n da a conocer la publicaci\u00f3n Justicia en materia de vivienda en la COP30: Las voces de la sociedad civil en el \u00e1mbito clim\u00e1tico<\/i>, que recopila los mensajes clave aportados por grupos de la sociedad civil a la COP30 celebrada en Bel\u00e9m, Brasil. La publicaci\u00f3n destaca c\u00f3mo se reconoce cada vez m\u00e1s la integraci\u00f3n del sector de la vivienda en los debates internacionales sobre el clima, gracias al trabajo de los movimientos sociales, las organizaciones de base y los socios aliados en investigaci\u00f3n y pol\u00edticas que llevan mucho tiempo haciendo hincapi\u00e9 en los v\u00ednculos entre la vivienda y la justicia clim\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n

Llevamos varios a\u00f1os trabajando en las conexiones entre la justicia clim\u00e1tica y el derecho a la ciudad. Comenzamos con la publicaci\u00f3n de nuestro documento tem\u00e1tico en 2020 y hemos seguido colaborando con nuestros miembros a nivel local, nacional, regional y global<\/span><\/p>\n

La presencia de la GPR2C en la Semana del Clima de Nueva York 2026 refuerza una convicci\u00f3n compartida: las ciudades son actores fundamentales en la acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica<\/b>, pero solo pueden cumplir este papel si se convierten en territorios inclusivos, democr\u00e1ticos y sostenibles. La justicia clim\u00e1tica requiere participaci\u00f3n real<\/b>, redistribuci\u00f3n<\/b>, econom\u00edas basadas en la solidaridad<\/b>, vivienda adecuada<\/b>, espacios p\u00fablicos de calidad<\/b>, no discriminaci\u00f3n<\/b> y protecci\u00f3n de los bienes comunes<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
