The UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) will hold the second session of the UN-Habitat Assembly at UN-Habitat headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, from 5-9 June 2023.<\/p>\n
The theme of the session is\u00a0\u201cA sustainable urban future through inclusive and effective multilateralism: achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in times of global crises\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Among the key issues to be considered by the UN-Habitat Assembly at its second session are the following: In addition, the Assembly will elect its new Bureau and also elect members of the Executive Board.<\/p>\n The Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) is planning to participate in the UN-Habitat Assembly to advocate around NUA and Un-Habitat strategic plan. It is also an opportunnity to reposition the discussion around the Right to the City in UN-Habitat agenda and documents. More informatino will be available in the coming weeks.
