O debate est\u00e1 sendo organizado pela ECOSOC (Conselho Econ\u00f4mico e Social) UN-Habitat, a CGLU (Cidades e Governos Locais) e outras organiza\u00e7\u00f5es. O professor Michael Cohen, da universidade The New School, representa a <strong>GPR2C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.righttothecityplatform.org.br\/gpr2c-in-the-world-habitat-day-celebration-in-new-york\/\">GPR2C in the World Habitat Day Celebration in NYC<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Neste ano, o tema do DMH \u00e9 <i>Espa\u00e7os P\u00fablicos para Todos, <\/i>tendo como mote o Objetivo 11 dos ODS (Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel), voltado \u00e0 Constru\u00e7\u00e3o das Cidades e Assentamentos Urbanos Seguros, Flex\u00edveis e Sustent\u00e1veis e a Meta 7, focada nos Espa\u00e7os P\u00fablicos. Em paralelo, uma s\u00e9rie de cidades ao redor do mundo tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o discutindo este tema.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">De acordo com a ONU-Habitat, os objetivos do debate deste ano s\u00e3o: 1) Mostrar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre o desenho do espa\u00e7o p\u00fablico e urbaniza\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel; 2) Propor inova\u00e7\u00f5es e melhores pr\u00e1ticas na \u00e1rea do desenho do espa\u00e7o p\u00fablico; 3) Destacar a necessidade de pol\u00edticas, bem como solu\u00e7\u00f5es inovadoras e replic\u00e1veis, id\u00e9ias, conceitos e abordagens que podem ser usadas em diferentes contextos para o projeto do espa\u00e7o p\u00fablico; e, 4) Identificar ideias de desenhi, conceitos e abordagens que s\u00e3o replic\u00e1veis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A\u00a0<strong>GPR2C<\/strong> enfatiza, em seu mais recente comunicado, a import\u00e2ncia de incluir as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da sociedade civil e governos locais no processo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o do Habitat III, que acontecer\u00e1 em Quito,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>no Equador, e 17 a 20 de outubro de 2016.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u00ab\u00a0Apelamos para que este empenho internacional reconhe\u00e7a inova\u00e7\u00f5es promovidas por esses atores a fim de alcan\u00e7ar cidades mais justas, democr\u00e1ticas e sustent\u00e1veis, onde os direitos humanos sejam realizados, bem como a responsabilidade para com as gera\u00e7\u00f5es futuras.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As celebra\u00e7\u00f5es do DMH ocorrem na sede da ONU, das 9h30 \u00e0s 18:00 (hor\u00e1rio local).
