Seu objetivo foi desenvolver uma melhor compreens\u00e3o dos elementos conceituais do Direito \u00e0 Cidade e dos instrumentos jur\u00eddicos, administrativos e judiciais que podem ser utilizados para a sua implanta\u00e7\u00e3o nas cidades. Os facilitadores exploraram iniciativas e experi\u00eancias nas quais o Direito \u00e0 Cidade \u00e9 usado como refer\u00eancia para pol\u00edticas, programas e projetos de desenvolvimento urbano, a fim de construir cidades inclusivas, democr\u00e1ticas e sustent\u00e1veis.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.righttothecityplatform.org.br\/global-platform-for-the-right-to-the-city-during-habitat-iii-pics-quotes\/training_event\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2219\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2219\" src=\"https:\/\/www.right2city.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Training_Event.jpeg\" alt=\"Training_Event\" width=\"1080\" capacita\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"The workshop started with an initial plenary session presented by Nelson Saule Jr (P\u00f3lis Institute) and a general introduction and background by Eva Garc\u00eda Chueca (UCLG), providing an overview of the Right to the City: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">O workshop iniciou com uma sess\u00e3o plen\u00e1ria inicial apresentada por Nelson Saule Jr (Instituto P\u00f3lis) e uma introdu\u00e7\u00e3o geral por Eva Garc\u00eda Chueca (CGLU), fornecendo uma vis\u00e3o geral do Direito \u00e0 Cidade:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>* <span title=\"Its history and foundation on existing rights, as well as its unique emphasis on territorial aspects; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">A sua hist\u00f3ria e fundamento sobre os direitos existentes, bem como a sua \u00eanfase singular nos aspectos territoriais;<br \/>\n* <\/span><span title=\"Its particular reception in Latin America, with the Brazilian City Statute, the Ecuadorian Constitution, and Columbian Constitution and laws; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">Sua particular acolhida na Am\u00e9rica Latina, com o Estatuto da Cidade (Brasil), a Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o do Equador e a session, three working groups discussed the following topics for 25 minutes, with the help of the facilitators Allison Brown (WIEGO) and Marie Huchzermeyer ( CUBES \u2013 Wits University): enthusiastic and young audience comprised mostly by law students, but there were a few people from the Habitat 3 conference who had specific interests in the Right to the City\u201d said Alison Brown. spoke about the paradigm change that is needed to give meaning to constitutional principles that have long existed, for instance the definition of the term \u201csocio-ecological functions of urban land\u201d.\">Na terceira sess\u00e3o, a advogada e urbanista brasileira Betania Alfonsin falou sobre a mudan\u00e7a de paradigma necess\u00e1ria para dar sentido aos princ\u00edpios constitucionais instruments and their potential for the intervention in the urban land market play a key role in elevating these rights.\">Instrumentos de planejamento adequados e seu potencial para a key instruments that were developed and adopted in Brazil to this end, such as compulsory subdivision, progressive land taxation, zoning instruments such as the Special Zones of Social Interest, and TO THE CITY \">A PLATAFORMA GLOBAL PARA O DIREITO \u00c0 CIDADE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"The Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) emerged from the initiative of several organizations working from around the world to mobilize national and local governments, and international and regional organizations for a new development paradigm aiming at more inclusive and democratic cities.\">A Plataforma Global pelo Direito \u00e0 Cidade (GPR2C) surgiu a partir da iniciativa de v\u00e1rias organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que trabalham em todo o mundo para mobilizar governos nacionais e locais, e organiza\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais e regionais, para um novo paradigma de desenvolvimento visando cidades mais inclusivas e democr\u00e1ticas. <\/span><span title=\"The GPR2C advocates for the recognition and adoption of the Right to the City in the implementation of public policies;\">O GPR2C defende o reconhecimento e a ado\u00e7\u00e3o do Direito \u00e0 Cidade na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas; <\/span><span title=\"therefore it participated, through its members, in different forums and events related to the Habitat III process to promote the Right to the City and to advocate for its adoption as the cornerstone of the New Urban Agenda.\">Participou, por meio de seus membros, em diferentes f\u00f3runs e eventos relacionados ao
