Confer\u00eancia das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas sobre Habita\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento Urbano Sustent\u00e1vel &#8211; que aconteceu em Quito, Equador, de 17 a 20 de outubro de 2016.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span title=\"CONVERGENCE ASSEMBLY ON THE RIGHT TO THE CITY \">ASSEMBLEIA DE <\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"pt\"><span title=\"CONVERGENCE ASSEMBLY ON THE RIGHT TO THE CITY \">CONVERG\u00caNCIA SOBRE O DIREITO \u00c0 CIDADE<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"pt\"><\/span><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"pt\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span title=\"CONVERGENCE ASSEMBLY ON THE RIGHT TO THE CITY \"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span title=\"The Convergence Assembly took place on October 19th at the Universidad Central del Ecuador and aimed to bring together \u2013 from a critical point of view and oriented to advocacy \u2013 organizations, networks and individuals working in a variety of areas related to the Right to the City.\">A Assembl\u00e9ia de Converg\u00eancia aconteceu no dia 19 de outubro na Universidade Central do Equador e teve como objetivo reunir &#8211; de um ponto de vista cr\u00edtico &#8211; organiza\u00e7\u00f5es, redes e indiv\u00edduos que trabalham em uma variedade de \u00e1reas relacionadas ao Direito \u00e0 Cidade. <\/span><span title=\"Gender equality, quality public spaces, governance and local participation, inclusive economies, food security, rural development, sustainability, housing and urban development were some of the key issues discussed at the Assembly. \">Igualdade de g\u00eanero, espa\u00e7os p\u00fablicos de qualidade, governan\u00e7a e participa\u00e7\u00e3o local, economias inclusivas, seguran\u00e7a alimentar, desenvolvimento rural, sustentabilidade, habita\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento urbano foram algumas das principais quest\u00f5es debatidas na Assembl\u00e9ia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"The Assembly was part of the Resistance Forum, a parallel event to Habitat III that was attended mainly by members of grassroots movements and civil society organizations. \">A Assembleia fez parte do F\u00f3rum de Resist\u00eancia, um evento paralelo ao Habitat III, que contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de membros de movimentos de base e organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da sociedade civil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"On the picture below, from left to right: Lorena Zarate (HIC Habitat International Coalition);\">Na foto abaixo, da esquerda para a direita: <strong>Lorena Zarate<\/strong> (HIC Habitat International Coalition); We consider very important projects and local programs committed to the implementation of the Right to the City \u2013 conducted by various sectors of civil society and local governments, in particular by social groups and popular movements.\">1. Our global, national and local efforts towards the defense of the Right to the City has as its main strategic action the formulation and implementation of the Agenda of Inhabitants \u2013 which features more than just a document with a vision and commitments, but also concrete\">3.
