<\/span><\/em>La Journ\u00e9e Internationale de la Femme, le 8 mars, et l’ensemble de ce mois marquent un moment cl\u00e9 dans la lutte f\u00e9ministe dans le monde entier. L’\u00c9galit\u00e9 des Sexes est l’une des huit composantes du Droit \u00e0 la Ville<\/a><\/strong><\/span> et l’un de ses \u00e9l\u00e9ments cl\u00e9s. Il ne peut y avoir de droit \u00e0 la ville sans \u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes.<\/strong> Depuis la Plate-forme mondiale pour le droit \u00e0 la ville (PGDV), nous luttons pour des villes et des \u00e9tablissements humains qui adoptent toutes les mesures n\u00e9cessaires pour combattre la discrimination \u00e0 l’\u00e9gard des femmes et des filles sous toutes ses formes ; pour des villes\/\u00e9tablissements humains qui prennent toutes les mesures appropri\u00e9es pour assurer le plein d\u00e9veloppement des femmes et des filles, en leur garantissant l’\u00e9galit\u00e9 dans l’exercice et la r\u00e9alisation des droits humains, et une vie sans violence.<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n

Le Droit \u00e0 la Ville\u00a0des Femmes rev\u00eat une valeur \u00e0 la fois politique et th\u00e9orique. Politique de par sa capacit\u00e9 de transformation, et th\u00e9orique en raison de la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de construire des arguments et des connaissances de base pour promouvoir cette action politique. En outre, les approches f\u00e9ministes et fond\u00e9es sur le genre sont largement transversales, et recouvrent l\u2019ensemble des composantes du Droit \u00e0 la Ville et du travail de la PGDV.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The International Women's Day (IWD), on March 8, and this month as a whole mark a key moment in the feminist struggle around the world.\u00a0Gender equality is one of the\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>eight components of the Right to the City<\/a> <\/span><\/strong><\/span>and one of its key elements. <\/span><\/em>There can be no Right to the City without gender equality. <\/strong><\/span><\/em>From the\u00a0Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) we fight for cities and human settlements that adopt all necessary measures to combat discrimination against women and girls in all its forms; for cities\/human settlements that\u00a0take all appropriate measures to ensure the full development of women and girls, guaranteeing them\u00a0equality in the exercise and realization of human rights, and a life free of violence.<\/span><\/em><\/h4>

The Right to the City at International Women\u2019s Day 2021<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>

Women\u2019s Right to the City has a political and theoretical value.\u00a0Political because of the capacity to transform and theoretical because of the need to build arguments, knowledge, to promote that necessary political action.\u00a0\u00a0The gender and feminist view is essentially transversal and touches all the components of the Right to the City and of GPR2C\u2019s work.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>
