Por ocasi\u00e3o do Outubro Urbano de 2023, a Plataforma Global pelo Direito \u00e0 Cidade (PGDC) demanda a promo\u00e7\u00e3o e apoio \u00e0s economias diversas e inclusivas, um componente do Direito \u00e0 Cidade, para concretizar cidades e assentamentos humanos justos, inclusivos, seguros e sustent\u00e1veis, definidos como bens comuns essenciais para uma vida plena e decente.<\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

A conjun\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00faltiplas crises, nomeadamente a emerg\u00eancia ambiental\/clim\u00e1tica e o aprofundamento das desigualdades socioecon\u00f4micas entre e dentro dos pa\u00edses, agravadas pelos efeitos combinados da pandemia da COVID-19, tornam clara a necessidade de uma mudan\u00e7a de paradigma<\/strong>, particularmente em termos de modelos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, consumo e tomada de decis\u00e3o, rumo a modelos e sistemas econ\u00f4micos estabelecidos a partir de uma abordagem solid\u00e1ria baseada em direitos<\/strong>, que potencializem a fun\u00e7\u00e3o social e econ\u00f4mica dos bens comuns, colocando no centro o cuidado das pessoas e do planeta.<\/p>\n

Economias diversas e inclusivas<\/b> correspondem a um dos <\/span>oito componentes<\/span><\/a> do Direito \u00e0 Cidade. No \u00e2mbito do trabalho da Plataforma Global pelo Direito \u00e0 Cidade, uma cidade\/assentamento humano com economias diversas e inclusivas \u00e9 aquela que protege e assegura o <\/span>acesso a meios de subsist\u00eancia seguros e ao trabalho digno<\/b> para todes habitantes, uma cidade que reconhe\u00e7a o valor de<\/span> alternativas ao atual sistema capitalista, incluindo os valores que representam o desejo global por transforma\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b> (por exemplo, a economia social e solid\u00e1ria, a economia do cuidado, e a economia informal\/popular), uma cidade que reconhece o <\/span>cuidado dom\u00e9stico e o trabalho comunit\u00e1rio<\/b> realizado, em grande parte, por mulheres e que assegura o pleno desenvolvimento de mulheres e meninas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Atrav\u00e9s deste marco, o Direito \u00e0 Cidade reconhece a import\u00e2ncia de desenvolver <\/span>formas e abordagens alternativas aos atuais modelos econ\u00f4micos<\/b> que t\u00eam sido impulsionados por uma crescente privatiza\u00e7\u00e3o e tend\u00eancias que visam ao lucro, resultando no aumento das desigualdades e da exclus\u00e3o, no agravamento das condi\u00e7\u00f5es de vida e na crescente concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de poder e recursos nas m\u00e3os de poucos, incluindo casos crescentes de captura corporativa de institui\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas. Isto significa <\/span>avan\u00e7ar em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a outros sistemas<\/b> que n\u00e3o se baseiam na maximiza\u00e7\u00e3o do lucro, mas na <\/span>garantia de meios de subsist\u00eancia e de trabalho dignos para todes<\/b>, contribuindo para o refor\u00e7o dos la\u00e7os comunit\u00e1rios e para o cuidado com o meio ambiente. Neste sentido, este componente tem um papel transversal fundamental, uma vez que \u00e9 central para a <\/span>prote\u00e7\u00e3o do interesse p\u00fablico e social definido coletivamente<\/b>, assegurando uma utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o justa e ambientalmente equilibrada dos espa\u00e7os urbanos e rurais e dos recursos comuns.<\/span><\/p>\n
