This guide is the result of the work developed over two theoretical and practical training workshops on digital advocacy campaigns on issues related (in the broadest sense) to the Global Platform for the Right to the City held in May 2019. The guide aims to help in improving the communication of different groups and organisations and to allow them to be more effective in their campaigns.

This guide is only a draft and is structured by modules. If you think you can improve any of the modules or add any other missing (gender, functional diversity, tools, regional versions …) do not hesitate to do so and contact us at this email communicationteam@hic-net.org.

At the moment we want to share it with you, so that it also serves as a help (along with other resources such as the podcast) for those who want to make versions of the workshop, those who were unable to attend or those who want to review some of the contents.

The guide is published under a “Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License” (CC BY 4.0) so that everyone can copy it, disseminate it in any form and create derivative material. We believe that it is a positive way of making the Right to the City known.
