While the coronavirus crisis emphasises the need to rethink the commodification of many sectors as well as the role and shape of public services and public utilities, the concept of a Green New Deal conveys new ideas regarding the place, role and form of public institutions with respect to implementing the restructuring of economic and social institutions.

With this in mind, Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and partners are releasing a new webinar series entitled « With Everything up for Grabs:The Green New Deal the World Needs Now ». The aim is to discuss what kind of state is needed in order to implement the required social and ecological changes in face of the pandemic.

The Brussels and New York offices of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung have joined forces with Transform Europe to launch a webinar series that focuses on developing internationalist visions for Green New Deal(s) that will work for the whole planet in the post-COVID era. In collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA), the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP), the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) and the Transnational Institute (TNI).
